Summary

Job Summary

Provides nursing leadership while ensuring implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
  • Responds to requests for assistance with patient care.
  • Ensures staff compliance with department and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of patient care and identifies any issues that affect desired patient outcomes.
  • Responds to complaints and addresses complaints through established channels.
  • Coordinates organizational resources to facilitate patient flow.
  • Performs job duties in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing required upon hire
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
  • RN - Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Eligible to practice nursing in the State of Kentucky required upon hire AND
  • BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 45 days of employment in this position AND
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute certification required within 90 days of employment in this position OR
  • MOAB - Management of Aggressive Behavior required within 90 days of employment in this position
