Summary

Job Summary

Performs a variety of administrative/clerical daily operations functions in support of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training Center.
 
Job Responsibilities
  • Greets customers, answers/screens/routes telephone calls, files, and distributes mail.
  • Completes less routine and detailed work assignments.
  • Takes accurate messages and ensures timely delivery.
  • Schedules and registers Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) class participants.
  • Keeps reservations for CPR equipment check out.
  • Enters CPR rosters and processes cards for instructors through roster tool.
  • Enters information and statistics into data management system.
  • Teaches CPR classes and oversees skills check and course completion both on and off campus.
  • Sets up and takes down class materials and manikins, including cleaning manikins and other tasks needed.
  • Processes, prints, and bills for CPR cards and e-cards sent in by instructors.
  • Orders and maintains supply inventory needed for daily training center operations.
  • Bills and collects payment for CPR classes, educational materials, cards, and rental of equipment.
  • Works with coordinator to ensure compliance with American Heart Association (AHA) regulations in processing cards and rosters for instructors.
  • Maintains work area and related supplies and equipment.
  • Completes deposits and assists in tracking revenue for training center through spread sheets and documentation.
  • Assists with evaluating the office environment, revising procedures, improving efficiency of workflow, and initiating cost reduction programs.
  • Assists with events and desk coverage as assigned.
  • Serves as training center faculty to monitor instructor bi-annual compliance.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or higher required upon hire
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience required
  • BLS - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of employment in this position OR
  • Heartsaver CPR AED and First Aid Certification required within 90 days of employment in this position AND
  • BLS instructor - Certified as a Basic Life Support Healthcare Instructor required within 180 days of employment in this position
